THE Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Saturday destroyed a two-acre-size field of marijuana plants at Onderneeming Backdam, Essequibo Coast, during the Force’s drug eradication operation in that area.A statement from the GPF said that approximately 4,200 plants at an average of 30 centimetres were found and destroyed, and an abandoned camp with 100 kilogrammes of dried marijuana was also found and destroyed. No arrests were made.
