PAUL Smith, 18, of Lot 505 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate, Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged with unlawfully assaulting Kevin Lewis to cause him actual bodily harm. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the December 31 offence and was released on his own recognisance and ordered to be back in court tomorrow.
