Residents fearful after African bees kill donkey

AFRICAN bees attacked and killed a donkey in Henrietta Village on Essequibo Coast, recently.

Reports said the swarm, which lives in a clump of bushes next to Anna Regina Town Council Pound aback of Henrietta, stung the animal to death while it was grazing.

Consequently, residents of Anna Regina New Housing Scheme, who live a short distance from the pound, have expressed fear of suffering attacks and are appealing to the Ministry of Agriculture to get rid of the killer insects.
