Republic Bank rewards outstanding CSEC performers

REPUBLIC BANK (Guyana) Ltd has rewarded its top RightStart Account holders for excellent performance at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) 2013 at a special ceremony last Thursday at the Banks Head Office, New Market Street.Manager of Water Street operations, Ms. Celine Davis, expressed pride at the accomplishment saying: “As a parent of three boys myself, I fully understand the indescribable feeling when the sacrifices we make are rewarded in turn by our children.
Statistics Supervisor, Finance and Planning Rhonda Cameron noted that the event marked a special moment in the lives of the awardees and was an acknowledgment of the hard work and determination which allowed them to be among the top young minds in the country. Noting that at this juncture of their lives, they may have plans for furthering their studies and other personal development considerations, she advised them to carry on their tradition of banking and continue to make Republic Bank the financial institution of choice for meeting their financial needs.
The awardees were Akash Jairam, Akeila Wiltshire, Cecil Cox, Reshma Ramdahin and Jubilant Cutting.They each received a Right start Gift Certificate valued $20,000 and a special gift.
