DEFENDING champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) will kick-start the 2027 edition of the Women’s Premier League against fellow two-time champions Mumbai Indians on January 14. As reported by Cricbuzz earlier, BCCI has zeroed in on Vadodara and Mumbai as the two venues for the entirety of the tournament.

UP Warriorz, the team that made the biggest splash at the recent auction, will play Gujarat Giants in their first game of the season on January 15. Four-time runner-up Delhi Capitals will start against RCB on January 16.

The first leg of the tournament includes 11 fixtures and will be played at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium from January 14 to January 24. The bandwagon will then shift to the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai, where once again RCB and MI will get the ball rolling for the second leg on January 26.

Nine league stage matches will then be played in Mumbai, until February 3, with Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz closing out the league stage. The eliminator clash is set for February 5 and the final on February 7.
