TRIDENT BMC-LLC edged out a record field at the Lusignan Golf Club to capture the third annual American Chamber of Commerce Guyana (AmCham Guyana) Golf Tournament on the East Coast of Demerara.
The quartet of Patrick Prashad, Kasim Khan, Ayube Subhan, and Arnold Deo accumulated 22 points under the Better-Ball Stableford format to seal a tight victory over the lush 18-tee, nine-hole layout.
Century Tamara Logistics Services Inc. finished a single point back in second place as Robin Tiwari, Kevin Boodram, Rabindranauth Persaud, and Sheldon Davis posted 21 points. Panko Team rounded out the podium positions in third on 20 points, courtesy of Lakeram Ramsundar, Jaipaul Suknanan, Bridgelall Harry, and Rakesh Harry.
Individual accolades went to Century Tamara’s lineup, with Davis collecting the Longest Drive award and Tiwari taking home the Closest to the Pin prize.
The 2026 edition represented a landmark staging for the event, attracting a record 27 teams and 108 players—a sharp increase in participation that underscores the growing synergy between Guyana’s corporate landscape and the sport.
Reflecting on the success of the tournament, Lusignan Golf Club Vice-President Joseph Szeplaki highlighted the importance of the partnership with AmCham Guyana, an organization established in 2018 to strengthen commercial ties between Guyana and the United States.
