THE Ministry of Housing–Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) has reminded the public of its ongoing transition to the new headquarters at Plantation Houston, East Bank Demerara.
Several departments, the Housing Ministry said, are now operating from the new location, including the Conveyance Department.
As such, allottees wishing to uplift their Certificates of Title/Transports, or seeking assistance with matters relating to these documents, are asked to visit the new headquarters at Pln Houston.
The Community Development Department is also now operating from the new Headquarters. All persons with queries or concerns relating to informal settlements (squatting) and Special Projects are therefore asked to visit the Pln Houston office.
The Planning, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit and Human Resource Department are also currently operating from the new building.
“Other key service departments will relocate from the current Brickdam, Georgetown office to the new headquarters in the coming days, and the public will be notified as these transitions take place. The Ministry of Housing–CH&PA thanks the public for its patience and co-operation during this transition as we work towards improving service delivery and better serving the public,” the ministry said.
