NATIONAL wicket-keeper/batsman Kemol Savory blasted a boundary-studded 137 when the Commissioner of Police (COP) 2026 T20 Cup resumed yesterday at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary following a break for the weekend.
Representing Region 10 in the first game of the day’s double-header, Savory took advantage of the brilliant batting conditions to lead his team to a massive 95-run victory over Region 4C.
Savory, who smashed 12 fours and nine massive sixes in his brutal knock, added 199 for the first wicket in 17 overs with Michael Fredericks who was undefeated on 41 when the allotted 20 overs expired. Fredericks’s run a ball knock, also included four fours and three sixes.
Region 4C never threatened following the early demise of Kevon Boodie, on whom much was depended, for 10 with Kelvin Leitch hitting a top score of 21.
Bowling for Region 10, Eaton Niles claimed three for 11 in 2.3 overs, Alex Williams two for 24 and Khemraj Chand two for 29.
The second game, scheduled for the after-lunch session, saw defending champions Headquarters getting a walkover from Presidential Guard who failed to show up.
The tournament continues today with another double-header at the same venue.
