THIRTEEN-year-old Rama Manoo of Seventh Street, Martyrs Ville was riding a bicycle on School Road, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara yesterday at approximately 15:00hrs, when he allegedly attempted to overtake motor lorry GKK 4058, lost control of the machine, fell on the roadway and was run over by the motor lorry.

He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with investigations.
