THE Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has bolstered its commercial ranks after signing a major one-year sponsorship deal worth G$3M with Superbet Guyana.
The agreement, which covers the 2026–2027 season, marks the first time the betting giant has entered an annual partnership with the GFF.
Under the terms of the deal, Superbet branding will be a prominent part of Guyanese football, featuring across GFF competitions and match-day settings.
The contract was formalised in Georgetown by GFF President Wayne Forde and Shrikant Kisoensingh, General Manager of Guiana Holding Inc.
While the financial specifics remain undisclosed, the core of the deal appears rooted in grassroots growth.
Superbet Marketing Representative, Clay Roberts, emphasised that the collaboration is a “reaffirmation” of the company’s commitment to youth empowerment.
For President Forde, the deal is a timely boost as the GFF looks to expand its domestic programmes.
“We are delighted to welcome Superbet to our family of partners,” Forde said. “Partnerships like this create more opportunities for our young players to express themselves on the pitch, while offering our passionate fans the excitement and entertainment of the beautiful game.”
This partnership represents a significant win for the GFF’s commercial strategy. By securing a high-profile corporate ally, the Federation aims to enhance match day experiences for fans across the country, fund expansive youth development initiatives and strengthen the financial stability of domestic leagues.
