BISHOP Larry Rangasammy, Chief Coordinator of Sunday School Centre, Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam and Berbice River, has expressed gratitude for gifts his organisation received from Food for the Poor (Guyana) Limited.
He added that with the gifts, he is able to brighten the lives of the less fortunate by providing clothing, foodstuff, furniture, footwear and mattresses, among other things.
Mr. Rangasammy said he provides weekly meals for more than 200 children and also gives free Mathematics and English classes.
He is of the view that the humanitarian service of Food for the Poor has impacted significantly on the lives of those less fortunate in society.
As such, Bishop Rangasammy and others say thanks to Leon Davis, Director of Food for the Poor.
