THE Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday announced some more postings of Senior Officers.
They are as follows:
Assistant Commissioner Gavin Primo has been posted as Special Patrols Officer in charge of the policing patrol arrangements for the Christmas period.
Senior Superintendent David Ramnarine has been posted to “E & F” Division as the second-in-command. He was formally the second-in-command of “A” Division.
Superintendent Deryck Josiah has been posted to “A” Division as the second-in-command. He was previously in charge of the Lethem Sub-Division and has been replaced there by Deputy Superintendent Trevor Sampson.
Senior Superintendent Eric Bassant has been posted to “D” Division as the second-in-command. He was formerly in charge of the Force Quartermaster Stores and has been replaced at the Stores by Superintendent Lawrence Kissoon.
Senior Superintendent Roland Alleyne has resumed duties from Annualised Vacation Leave and has resumed duties as the second-in-command of “C” Division.
Superintendent John Sauers has been posted to “C” Division as the third-in-command of the Division.
Assistant Superintendent Edmond Cooper has been posted to “E & F” Division as the second-in-charge of the Linden Sub-Division.
On November 14, 2009, the Commissioner of Police had announced the following changes in command within the GPF:
** Assistant Commissioner L. Brummel from ‘A’ Division to the office of the Assistant Commissioner ‘Operations’.
** Assistant Commissioner G. Vyphuis from ‘B’ Division to ‘A’ Division.
** Assistant Commissioner S. Merai from the Department of Development to ‘B’ Division.
** W/Assistant Commissioner P. Morrison from ‘D’ Division to the Department of Development.
** Senior Superintendent C. West from the Tactical Services Unit to ‘D’ Division.
