THIRTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD Odell Rosandi, of Lot 2 Laing Avenue, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman, last Tuesday, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on June 13, at Lot 64 Laing Avenue, she wounded Natasha Lewis on one arm with an ice-pick.
Lewis, 24, of Lot 64 Laing Avenue, was charged with unlawfully assaulting Rosandi.
Lewis told the Court that Rosandi choked her and pushed her to the ground and, in trying to protect herself, the former was wounded.
Rosandi, who said she Lewis fled the scene leaving her bleeding, was put on $60,000 bail and Lewis was ordered to post $20,000 surety.
Both women were placed on a bond to keep the peace, pending the outcome of the cases which will be called, again, on July 12.
