I write to applaud Mayor Hamilton Green (KN May 17) for informing readers that the late fascist dictator Forbes Burnham did not kill Dr. Walter Rodney and to think that for 33 years we were misled into believing that Burnham did the job all by himself.

Mayor Green writes as though he knows who did the killing. So tell us Mr. Mayor, who planned and assassinated the great Rodney and who ferried the assassin Gregory Smith to French Guiana?  And while you are on the subject of political killings, can you please tell us who planned the murders of Edward Dublin, Ohene Kaoama, Father Darke, Shirley Field-Ridley, Josh Ramsammy, Vincent Teekah, and Dolly Baksh?
Readers are also interested in knowing who threatened and planned the kidnapping of Clive Thomas, Rickey Singh, and Yesu Persaud? And who ordered the reversal of Rodney’s hiring after it was approved by the UG Board? Could there be a common person in all of those unsolved criminal activities?
