BRIAN Clark of Vryheid’s Lust, East Coast Demerara was granted $10,000 bail when he appeared before Sparendaam Magistrate Alex Moore on Tuesday, May 7, charged with unlawfully assaulting Shanna Persaud on Tuesday, April 30.

According to the victim, she was assaulted by Clark “for nothing”.

Clark pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was granted pre-trial liberty by posting $10,000 bail, while the matter was set for later in the month.
