Defendant remanded on charges of armed robberies

KEMPTON Valet, 17, pleaded not guilty to two robbery under arms charges yesterday and was remanded to prison by Magistrate Sueanna Lovell.

Particulars of one offence said, on Monday, May 6, in Middle Street, Georgetown, being armed with a knife, he robbed Terrence Gordon of a gold chain worth $35,000.
The other allegation against Valet is that, the same day, in Middle Street, as well, he used the weapon to rob Stacy Bradshaw of a shoulder bag, containing a gold chain and other things with a total value of $143,200.
The cases will be called, again, on May 20.
