ACTING Chief Justice Mr. Ian Chang, SC, granted 12 petitioners bail in the total sum of $2,575,000 last Friday in the High Court in respect of a number of offences. For the offence of rape, Stephen Rodrigues was allowed $300,000 bail. For simple larceny, Kevin  Langhorne was allowed $200,000  bail; Brereton Charles $100,000 bail;  Leon John $50,000 bail;  Eswick Ross $50,000 bail, and Direst Kumon $300,000 bail.

For the offence of break & enter, Clemroy Fraser was admitted to $150,000 bail. For obtaining property by false pretence, Cani Maloney was allowed $50,000 bail. For the offence of receiving stolen property, Mignel Cort was allowed $250,000 bail.
And for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, Tritian Fraser was admitted to $325,000 bail, and Mark Aaron was admitted to $400,000 bail.
