SHERMON Branche (no address given) appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on a murder charge yesterday.

Particulars of the offence said, on Wednesday, January 30, at D’Urban Street, Georgetown, he murdered Allan Lloyd Profitt.
In the absence of his defence ccunsel, Branche was remanded to prison until today, when a date would be fixed for the commencement of the preliminary inquiry (PI).
