PELE, Fruta Conquerors and GDF are currently leading their respective groups in the points standing of the Georgetown Football Association’s (GFA) Milo Under-21 Round Robin/Knockout League. Playing in Group `A’, Pele have eight points from four matches, having won two of them and drawn the other two. In Group `B’, Fruta Conquerors have 15 points from five matches. They won all five (one by walkover). In Group `C’, GDF also have 15 points from five matches, one of which was by a walkover. Santos, who also have eight points in Group `A’ are second after contesting five matches. They won two, drew two and lost one. Riddim Squad are third in the group with six points from four matches. They won one, drew three and lost the other. UG are next with four points from four matches. They won one, drew one and lost two. In the cellar are GFC who are pointless to date after losing all four of their matches. In Group `B’, Uprising are second with nine points from four matches. They won three (two by walkovers) and lost the other. Alpha United are third with six points from five matches, two of which they won (one by walkover), while losing the other three. Thomas United are pointless, having lost all four of their matches. In Group `C’, Sunburst Camptown are second with 15 points like the group leaders, but they have played six matches to date, winning five and losing the other. BK International Western Tigers is third with six points from six matches. They won two by walkovers and lost the other four. Beacon, the other team in the group are pointless, having lost all four of their matches. To date, Pele have scored six goals and conceded one, Santos scored five and conceded one, Riddim Squad recorded five and conceded a similar amount, UG registered three and conceded five and GFC netted one but conceded 10. In Group `B’, Conquerors bagged 15 and have not conceded any to date. Uprising scored seven and conceded two, Alpha United netted six and conceded nine, Thomas United failed to find the back of their opponents’ net to date but they have so far conceded eight. In Group `C’, GDF scored 18 and conceded three, Camptown scored eight and conceded two, Tigers recorded four and conceded seven, Flamingo netted two but took nine and Beacon registered one but were inflicted with 13. Fruta Conquerors’ Manasseh Primo and GDF’s Anwar Bacos are the current leaders for the Highest Goals Scorer award. They both have three goals to their names, while Richie Richards and Telson McKinnon of GDF, along with Dellon John of Santos, Kacy John of Conquerors, Celvon Narain and Olvis Mitchell of GDF, Shemroy Arthur of GDF and Orville Stewart of Riddim Squad, have two goals each to their names.
