THE PRESIDENT and Executives of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) extend felicitations to Joseph Anthony ‘Reds’ Perreira on the national honour awarded to him by the Government of St Lucia on that country’s Independence anniversary on February 22.

Reds was awarded the St Lucia Medal of Merit Silver for outstanding contribution to sport and administration on that island.
He was appointed Sports Organiser for the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), but headquartered in St Lucia. He was very active in the organising and development of various activities in the country.
The GCB shares the pride he obviously must feel and hopes he will continue to have the strength, the energy and the interest to enhance sport in this part of the world.
