RAMIT, who allegedly set fire to his house at Foulis Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara two Saturdays ago, appeared before Cove and John Magistrate Zamilla Ally Wednesday, and was placed on $30,000 bail. Neighbours say he was under the influence of alcohol when he committed the act, and that the incident may have stemmed from a misunderstanding  with his wife, Janet, who shared the property with him.

Ramit is next due to appear in Court on March 6. (Charming Benfield)
