BRYAN Cummings (no address given) who was involved in an accident that resulted in motorcyclist Sherdell Tim being killed, has been charged with riding a bicycle without bell, brakes and light.

The case was called before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo at the New Amsterdam Court in Berbice yesterday but the defendant, also known as ‘Plastic’ did not appear and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Police said, on December 22 last, the defendant was proceeding North when he collided with the motorcyclist, who was hurled into the air and landed on the front bumper of a contracted Guyana Power & Light (GPL) minibus before being pronounced dead on arrival at New Amsterdam Hospital.
The case will be called, again, on January 28.
