ALWAYNE Smith (no address given) was yesterday refused bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on a charge of robbery under arms.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence, which stated that, on November 13; being armed with a gun he robbed Marlon Subner of $7,000 cash.
Police Corporal Seon Blackman, prosecuting, objected to bail based on prevalence and seriousness of the offence.
The magistrate ruled in favour of the prosecution and remanded to the defendant to prison until November 30.
