KENTON Wallis, of Lot 147 East La Penitence, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell yesterday, on a robbery with aggravation charge. He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on October 18, being together with others, he robbed Ryan Seenanan of two cell phones worth $127,500 amongst booty valued a total of $233,180.
Police Corporal Kerry Bostwick, prosecuting, said the virtual complainant was walking in the vicinity of the East Coast Bus Park, also in the city, when five men, including the defendant, confronted and robbed him of his belongings.
The prosecutor said the defendant was arrested based on a description given and the latter was granted $50,000 bail until November 6.
