YOUTH Basketball Guyana (YBG) has named 20 players to participate in the 2012 Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) male Junior National training programme.
The female team will largely remain the same as last year, with ten returning players. Official training camp for both teams will start in a few weeks.
In the meantime players are encouraged to focus on individual skills development and strength and conditioning training.
The male squad has six returning players. They are: Nikkoloi Smith (Plaisance Academy), Dominic Douglas (Kwakwani), Dominic Vincente (Marian Academy), Linden Fraser (LTI), Martin Weatherspoon (NA.Multi) and Dave Plass (Kwakwani).

The remainder of the squad reads: Emanuel Archibald, Taquain Vieira, Travin Drydan, Nyambikieri Bacchus, Joel Webster, Parish Cadogan, Elvis Thompson, Joseph Gilkes, Leonard Primo, Akeel Primo, Shaka Codrington, Jonathan Pooran, Dwight Gray and Quincy Easton.
