PAUL Lewis, of Lot 43 East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared in court yesterday, charged with assault. It was alleged, before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, that, on July 26, at his home, he unlawfully and maliciously assaulted Winston Small.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the offence and was released on his own recognisance until September 27.
