VOICE of Faith Miracle Ministries will hold the annual international convention in Nickerie, Suriname, from August 19 to 26.
A release from the International Secretary of the Group, Pastor Rocky Prabhulall, the eight days activity will be hosted at Nickerie Indoor Sports Stadium and open to the general public. The release said preparations for the staging are in progress and Pastor Norman Felix, other leaders and followers of the religion in Nickerie are working round the clock to have everything in place to accommodate members from Guyana, as well.
A large team from the Essequibo Coast, Bartica, Orealla and Siparuta would be among those expected to attend what has been described as a life changing occasion in Suriname.
The church in Apura, another Suriname town along the Coretyne River, is to be represented in the gathering, too.
Many more persons from across Suriname would also be attending the occasion and there will be nightly sessions apart from the those between 09:00 hrs and 12:30 hrs.
Pastor Prabhulalll said there will be special counselling for youths, married couples, those hooked on drugs and alcohol and others enduring domestic problems and rejection.
The theme for the convention is ‘Manifestation of Jehovah Elohim’ and the release said the sick will be prayed for daily.
Prabhulall, Apostle Compton Bacchus and several leaders and members are in the Guyana delegation while Pastors Brian and Norma will be flown to the venue from Suriname.
