Free medical clinics today, tomorrow – In Upper Pomeroon

THE Department of Health in the Regional Administration will be hosting medical outreach clinics in  upper Pomeroom River today and tomorrow. A release said the Acting Medical Superintendent of  Suddie Hospital, on the Essequibo Coast, Dr. Bob Ramnauth will be in attendance at Karawab and St. Monica today and Kabakaburi tomorrow.
The announcement said the attending team will include from the Dental and Ophthalmology Departments and cater for patients with ear problems.
It said HIV and AIDS testing and counselling will be done and there will also be screening for tuberculosis.
Pharmacy services, through which patients will be able to obtain free medication, would also be available, the release said.
