THE SALVATION Army in Guyana is currently registering women for admission to its Drug Rehabilitation Programme.

If you’ve a friend or loved one taking drugs, please contact the Salvation Army as soon as possible, on telephone number: 226-1235, or call 686-7504 for details.

Hurry! Places are limited. Make that important call today. It could be your first step towards helping them get their lives back on track.

Remember, repeated or prolonged drug abuse changes both the structure of the brain and its functioning. It changes the brain in fundamental ways that reinforce drug taking, and leads to addiction. These changes are difficult to un-do and may last a long time, unless professional help is had as soon as possible.
