ACTION in the Female Inter-Association Competition which is organised by the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), resumes next Tuesday when Rupununi come up against West Demerara at the Den Amstel Ground from 16:00hrss. The action then continues on Thursday July 19 at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, where Georgetown meet Rupununi from 17:00hrs.
According to a release from the GFF, the competition wraps up on Saturday July 21 when Bartica clash with Rupununi at either the Den Amstel or GFC ground from 14:00hrs.
Bartica and Georgetown are on top of the points standing with seven points but Bartica are ahead with a superior goal difference of 18 while Georgetown have nine.
Rupununi and Berbice are third and fourth in the points standing with three points each, but Rupununi’s goal difference is nine in comparison to Berbice’s which stands at -19, while West Demerara sit at the bottom of the table without any point.
