Two men and a woman are in police custody following two separate drug busts and guns find on Friday in the city and at Buxton, East Coast Demerara (ECD). Police said that on Friday they conducted a search on a building at Brutus Street, Agricola, during which 66 rounds of .243 calibre ammunition and 70 grammes of marijuana were found.
A man was arrested and is in police custody assisting with that investigation.
Also on Friday, the police conducted a search on a house at Middle Road, Buxton, ECD, during which an unlicensed shotgun along with 16 cartridges were found.
A man and a woman were arrested and are in police custody assisting with that investigation.
