CHOREOGRAPHER Verley Clarke, 23, of Lot 1213 Fourth Street, Alberttown, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, on a larceny charge. The accused is charged, indictably, with having, on June 5, at Kitty Seawall, also in the city, stolen one gold ring, valued $7,000, property of Akeela D’Aguiar.
Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, objected to bail for him, based on prevalence and seriousness of the offence.
But the magistrate overruled the prosecutor’s objection to the grant and set surety at $120,000 until June 18.
