ANY CONFRONTATION
He was unaware that his mother and Sattaur were having any problems as he never saw them in any confrontation with each other. But he works in the interior and was not around the family much of the time. However, the 21-year-old said his information was that Sattaur went to his mother’s Mora home and they had an argument over a mobile phone, which the man took from her and carried to his place of employment.
He said his mother had gone to man’s workplace to retrieve the phone when she met her demise.
Meanwhile, at the home of the woman’s other three children and their father, other persons from the village commenced erecting a tent for holding a wake.
Recalling how he and his wife separated, after 19 years together, the children’s father, Naculraj Ramkishore said it was due to the affair between her and Sattaur.
He said he kept visiting the house to check on his children and in the hope of being able to reconcile with the woman and resume living in one house. He is presently living in Tuschen Housing Scheme, another part of East Bank Essequibo.
He pledged to ensure that he remains strong for his children who are 21, 18, 17 and 15 years old.
