Man’s body found close to defunct incinerator in city

SHORTLY before midday yesterday, the body of a man, identified as Keith Bowen, 36, of 51 Norton Street, Lodge,   was discovered aback of the defunct incinerator in the vicinity of the City Police Outpost on St. Stephen’s and Princes Street, Georgetown. There were marks of violence on the body and it was fully clothed.

Bowen, who was addicted to drugs, was reportedly caught red-handed when he stole several pieces of scrap metal from a nearby scrap metal dealer, also on Norton Street, in the city.
Police believe he was beaten to death by a group of men who cornered him.
