FOOTBALL action in this year’s Scotiabank/Pepsi School Football Academy continues today with three games at the Tucville ground, commencing from 09:30 hrs. In the first encounter, St George’s Secondary and Tucville Secondary will clash in a male encounter, while at 11:00hrs, Lodge Secondary and North Georgetown will clash in a female match, followed by another male encounter between East Ruimveldt Secondary and Christ Church Secondary, which gets under way at 1230hrs.
Meanwhile, Tucville Secondary and Tutorial High School have already qualified for the second round from Group ‘A’ in the female category, ahead of East Ruimveldt Secondary and St Stanislaus College respectively.
The finals are set for Saturday June 16 at the Ministry of Education Ground, where the females will take to the field at 10:00hrs, followed by the males who will bring the curtain down in this year’s academy with their matchup from 1130hrs.
