Dear Editor,

ALMIGHTY God has restrained violence in our governmental transition. We ought to be grateful.
Whoever is put in office needs toáreceiveáthe Counsel of God as to how he should rule in order to be” the President of All the people”. This is the principle: Righteousness exalts a Nation, (a government, a leader). Sin brings reproach, not just from among one’s subjects whom one is mandated to serve, but, above all, from the One who has put you in office, God Himself!

For instance, it is not righteous for a political leader to micromanage any state entity, directly or indirectly encouragingádisrespect for the rule of law. This is the path down the slippery slope.

God has demonstrated to both the PPP/C and the PNC/R His ability to set up and put down according to His purpose. Heed His voice and learn wisdom. Righteousness exalts. Sin is a reproach and brings God’s judgement.
