POLICE have disclosed that the driver’s licence of Paul Azar of 38 Stanleytown, New Amsterdam, Berbice, has been suspended following his involvement in a fatal accident. Azar has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following investigations into an accident that occurred on November 30, 2011 at Main Road, New Amsterdam which resulted in the death of pedestrian Mignauth Sumrah of Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam.
Azar’s driver’s licence has been suspended pending the outcome of the matter.
