A VENDOR charged with hat theft was put on $15,000 bail yesterday. Keigfreid Grant, 29, of Lot 32 Old Road, Craig, East Bank Demerara, appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton and pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said he stole the headwear, valued $3,000, property of Rawle Bernard.
Prosecuting Police Sergeant, Gordon Mansfield had no objection to the grant of pre-trial freedom to Grant, who has to be back in court on May 22.
