Joseph elected GDA president

FORMER vice-president of the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA), Orin Joseph, is now the new president of the ruling body in the city after he was elected to the position at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held on Saturday in South Ruimveldt Park. His newly-elected vice-president is Michael Persaud and the new secretary is Derrick Collymore while Ronald Beharry returns as the treasurer.
Sonia Goodluck was appointed as the assistant secretary/treasurer, Basil Bradshaw will serve yet again as the Public Relations Officer and Mark Wiltshire is the organising secretary.
Yonnette Christmas and William Sergeant are Wiltshire’s assistants while the four new committee members are Faye Joseph, Rudy Collins, Erwin Chapman and Kevin Boston. The two trustees will be named shortly.
Meanwhile, the body will begin its work soon, as it seeks to intensify the interest in dominoes and works towards its stipulated goals.
