A mixed jury was on Tuesday empanelled before Justice Franklyn Holder to facilitate the retrial of Rayburn Harvey for the murder of Simantha Belle on March 18, 2006.
State Prosecutors, Miss Renita Singh and Mrs. Judith Gildharie-Mursalin are prosecuting. Six witnesses are expected to testify for the prosecution which will begin giving evidence on Monday.
Attorney-at-law Mr. Ronald Burch-Smith is appearing for the defence.
Prosecutor Singh will deliver her opening address on Monday.
