FOOTBALL fans can expect lots of football action this evening at the GFC Ground as play in the East Coast Reunion Football tournament continues from 18:00 h, with East Coast Demerara Champions Buxton United facing Santos of Georgetown.

Clive ‘Chaka’ Andries will lead Buxton United whose players are mostly under the age of 20.

He will receive support from brothers Michael Phill, Derek Phill, and Derek Hatton. Santos will be led by Andy Duke, Quacy Price, Seon McKenzie and Dwayne Ali.

Meanwhile, from 20:00 h old rivals Guyana Defence Force collide with the knockout specialists and reigning Kashif & Shanghai and Mayor’s Cup champions Pele from 20:00 h.

The soldiers will be led by captain Devon Harris. He will receive valuable support from Shawn Arthur, Stellon David, Sherlock Dowden and Ryan Morrison.

Pele will be led by the skilful Travis ‘Zorro’ Grant who is in fine form. Solomon Austin, Dirk Archer and Gerald Whittington will offer support, while Shemroy Arthur will be between the uprights.

The tournament continues tomorrow with a double-header that will see Alpha United coming up against Plaisance United from 18:00 h while Mahaica Determinators will battle with Sunburst Camptown from 20:00 h.
