Defendants on bail must avoid each other

GEORGE Baptiste and Merlene Nelson (no addresses given) were, yesterday, ordered to stay away from each other until they return before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on March 9. That was after Baptiste pleaded not guilty to using threatening language charge to Nelson, whereby causing a breach of the peace and she denied assaulting him, also on February 12.
Police Sergeant, Gordon Mansfield, prosecuting, had no objection to bail and it was set at $10,000 each for both defendants.
