AN EXHIBITION highlighting Mashramani is currently ongoing at the National Museum. The colourful launching ceremony featured cultural items from the National School of Dance and the Music Development Unit, as well as masquerade, drumming and dancing. At the event, Guest of Honour — Culture, Youth and Sport Minister Dr. Frank Anthony — lauded the staff of the National Museum for their hard work in putting together the exhibition, and encouraged persons to visit the National Museum as well as other museums.
Exhibits include an array of photos and books on Mashramani, as well as information on elements of Mashramani, such as musical instruments, clothing, and masquerade bands.
