LINDEN nail technician and beautician Ebony Grenville continues to take social media by storm, receiving overwhelming shares, likes and comments, even from international companies and members of the Diaspora, after posting her ‘over the top’ and unimaginable nail designs.

For the month of March, Ebony had her social media followers confused as to how a local nail technician can recreate edible packaging and a scenic view of an ocean with sharks that were literally swimming in a pristine blue ocean on the client’s nail bed.

Her choice of colours and artistry have succeeded in raising the bar of nail designing to now become 21st Century art. Demand for her skills has increased tremendously.

Ebony has so perfected her skill in 3D nail designs that the fingers of her clients literally come alive.

In a previous interview, Ebony described herself as a perfectionist; someone who puts everything into getting every aspect of nail application perfectly done, so that when her clients step out of her salon, heads must be turning from afar.

Ebony has exerted a lot of time and energy on studying nail application and designing, and her motto is be nothing close to mediocre and so she goes above and beyond to make her clients satisfied.

Since opening her nail salon at the Wismar Municipal Market in 2015, she has captured an overwhelming clientele, even from the Diaspora.

“I am a perfectionist,” she said, “so the shape has to be perfect; the polishing has to perfect; the design has to be perfect; the colour coordination has to be perfect. Everything has to be perfect because I love, love what I do.”

What makes Ebony so different is that she puts a lot into being creative. She studies nail artistry and applies it in her own way.
