DEXROY Brown (no address given) was refused bail yesterday on a drug possession charge.
Before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell, he pleaded not guilty to having two grammes of cannabis (marijuana) in his possession on November 25.
Police Corporal Jairam Luckhai, prosecuting, said ranks on mobile patrol saw the defendant acting in a suspicious manner and stopped and searched him, finding the narcotic in his left side pants pocket.
Brown was remanded to prison until December 12.
