UPCOMING Gospel artiste Jeremiah Williams will today release his first single album entitled ‘Right Now’ at the Love and Faith World Outreach Ministries, from 19:00hrs.
Born to Miriam and Kenneth Williams, the 19-year-old started singing at the age of 5 years old in nursery school – Precious Jewels Nursery to be specific.
The fourth of five children and the third boy in the family, Jeremiah has never done a recording before, hence this will be his first time at recording a single.
Williams attributed the success of his music to the Holy Spirit, his Pastors Claude and Carole Brooks, his late grandmother Cheryl Greaves, and his mother, all of whom he says are his inspirations.
Jeremiah also credits his success to his strong faith in God through his trials, struggles and issues.
Jeremiah says hope in Christ is integral, and his expression of his talent has inspired a lot of young people.
The budding gospel singing advocates for the advancement of skill training to be taught in schools and the education systems.
“With the advent of technology, you can learn on the internet, young people can become involved in training and teaching themselves a skill, but do not just place yourself in a box or limitation,” the 19-year-old noted.
According to Jeremy, “there are so many ways that young people can be involved in the skill training world and make an impact in society, all it takes is a devotion of one’s self to your purpose and calling.
All that is needed is to exploration of your gifts and talents and the ability to nurture them in such a way that are able to serve you.”
