POLICE on Friday detained a 17-year-old male at Emerald Tower Road, Soesdyke/Linden Highway after he was found in possession of three live rounds of.32 ammunition and.32 revolver.

Police, in a release, said an investigation has been launched into the incident. On the same day, officers acting on information received, went to the home of a 52-year-old female resident of First Avenue, Bartica and conducted a search, where they found 25.1 grams of cocaine and 16.1 grams of cannabis.

According to the police, the woman was arrested and is being processed for court on Monday.
