Gulshan Grover, known for his ‘bad man’ role in Bollywood films, also accompanied the President on stage. In remarks at the event, President Jagdeo said Indian culture is alive and well in Guyana. He congratulated the organizers for a magnificent parade and thanked them for inviting him.
The President was due to have dinner with Rani Mukherji last night at the Royal Albert Palace in New Jersey.
The parade was organized by the FIA and the President turned down several invitations in the past. The FIA said it was honored to have President Jagdeo graced the parade this year.
