A 50-year-old man, known as ‘Mouse’, was found dead on the Airy Hall Public Road early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, villagers discovered the body lying in a pool of blood. Reports said the man, Mohan Persaud, who is said to be insane, is suspected to have been the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
Reports from the village said he would normally walk the road day and night roaming from one end of the village to the other.
The man used to live at Airy Hall Sands, with his wife and children.
Police are investigating.
