WHAT will be the government’s reaction to another example of poor security response, when we read that bandits attacked a pawnshop next door to the Vigilance Police Station, and escaped with some $ 10 million in jewellery and more than $ 100,000 in cash. Also, the report said that from all appearances, the men ran through the back of the yard and were reportedly cornered by police who were summoned, but still managed to escape.  Will the Home Minister, Police Commissioner or the President demand to know what happened and why? Is there anyone left in Guyana who acts instead of reacting and make excuses or talk of investigations that never seem to  end? Where is the indignation by all?
